108gsm swiss dot green double gauze, by metre

Soft green cotton double gauze with a woven swiss dot on the right side of the fabric.  The reverse side is basically smooth.  The two loose-weave gauze layers are woven together at intervals and will not come apart by themselves.  This double gauze has only a mild crinkled texture, but it might become a little more crinkly after pre-washing.  It has very good drape, especially for a cotton, with a touch of body.  It is slightly dry to the touch, with a somewhat crisp, textured feel - not particularly soft for a cotton (a little different from the similar-looking white and peach double gauzes), but it should soften over time with washing.  Slightly translucent.  Suitable for tops, blouses, tunics, drapey shirts, dresses and skirts (with lining), and kids wear.  Swatches are available - please leave a note at check-out if you would like one.
