PREVIEW 114gsm rayon cotton warm checks, by metre

Yarn-dyed herringbone-weave fabric, composition is rayon with some cotton and a tiny amount of elastane.  The woven checks are in shades of brick red, soft burnt orange, medium grey, and brownish sepia.  The right side has more orange to it and the "wrong" or reverse side has more grey, but I think you could use whichever side you prefer.  Fabric has a slightly crinkled effect which may be a bit more obvious after washing. It is pretty much opaque on the skin as it's quite closely woven of fine threads.  Fabric feels soft, smooth, slightly cool and dry to touch, and comfortable against the skin.  It has a good amount of soft drape, with some structure and a little body.  Suitable for clothing such as tops, blouses, shirts, dresses, thin bottoms, kids wear, or even sleepwear.
