122gsm cocoa brown cotton plisse, by metre

Cocoa brown cotton plisse with crinkled stripes running lengthwise down the fabric i.e. parallel to the selvedge. On one side, the smooth and crinkled stripes are slightly different colours of brown, whilst the other side is just one shade of brown.  You can use whichever side you prefer as the "right" side.  Like most cotton plisse, this fabric has a slightly dry and "papery" hand-feel.  (It may help some people visualise this fabric better if I mention that it makes a soft rustling noise when moved.)  The base fabric is tightly woven of very fine yarns and feels very smooth and soft.  It is thin, but opaque on the skin, with moderate structure and a little drape.  Suitable for clothing such as tops, puffy blouses, shirts, non-drapey dresses, even bottoms, if you like.
