124gsm flocked viscose polyamide, by metre

This unusual fabric is a voile-like viscose (weft)/ polyamide (warp) blend with strips of flocking in a light ivory colour.  Polyamide is added to give the fabric strength and body whilst maintaining its lightness.  Fabric may also have some lyocell content.  The flocked lines run vertically down the length of the fabric (parallel to the selvedges), and are soft and plush with a silky sheen.  Fabric is smooth on the reverse side, and is slightly cool to the touch.  It is a bit translucent over contrasting colours.  Has very good drape with a touch of body to it, and a fluid handle.  Suitable for tops, blouses, flowy shirts, dusters, dresses, possibly even loose pants (with lining), or kids wear.  It's so comfy you could even sleep in it.  Swatches are available - please leave a note at check-out if you would like one.
