Note/ Defect:
Pre-washed. This fabric is discounted as it has faint rusty dots and small shadowy spots here and there, they are quite near the selvedges and not too bad (see example photo). Fabric is still fine to use as a lining or for toiles/ mock-ups.

Tencel/ viscose crepe de chine fabric in warm white, with a slight glowy lustre which is a bit more obvious in low light.  Fabric feels smooth and slightly cool and matte to the touch.  It has a soft, fluid drape and a bit of body to it.  Suitable as a slightly thicker lining for dresses, skirts and flowy pants, or use it as the main fabric for tops, blouses, shirts, tunics, camisoles and slips (but note the defects, above).  Slightly translucent. If you find that this fabric stiffens up a bit after washing, a quick pass with steam or an iron on the silk setting will easily restore its fluid drape.

This is the half-priced version of this fabric, please check that one out if you prefer a non-defective cut.  Or if you need something thinner and lighter, you could also try this other fabric.
