Paper white plain weave rayon fabric, possibly with a little cotton or linen content. There are little slubs woven into the fabric that give it a nice visual texture (the slubs are a little more “3D” on the right side of the fabric). The fabric feels soft and smooth, though not as silky-smooth as a rayon challis, with a slightly dry hand-feel. It has excellent drape and a little body, and handles quite similarly to a rayon challis but with a little more structure. It is somewhat translucent. Suitable for tops, blouses, or flowy shirts - a lining would definitely be needed for a dress.
Swatches of this fabric are available - just leave a note at check-out if you would like one.
