This cotton/ linen blend fabric is composed of two individual voile-weight layers woven or "stitched" together at very close intervals - a bit like a double gauze, but not as gauzy.  It is likely to crinkle up slightly after washing (between the "stitches").  Fabric is fairly soft for a linen blend, with a dry hand-feel and slight surface texture that's comfortable against the skin.  The colour is a slightly dusty, light watery blue.  It is just a little translucent over contrasting colours, but I think it would be fine even for thin bottoms, as well as tops, blouses, shirts, dresses, kids wear, etc. Fabric has quite a good drape with some body and a little structure.

Swatches are available for this fabric - please leave a note at check-out if you would like one.
