White cotton double gauze with a woven swiss dot on the right side of the fabric. The reverse side is basically smooth. The two gauze layers are woven together at intervals and will not come apart by themselves. This double gauze has a puffy crinkled texture which might become more pronounced after pre-washing. It has good drape, especially for a cotton, with a touch of body. It is of average softness, and should soften more over time with washing. Fabric is somewhat translucent. Suitable for tops, blouses, tunics, shirts, dresses and skirts (with lining), sleepwear, and kids wear. A very similar fabric is available in pale peach.
