Viscose/ polyamide fabric with a painterly floral scene in shades of turquoise green, pale cool pinks, white, and pops of sky blue. It reminds me of water lilies. There is a subtle reflectiveness to the fabric in some lights. It feels cool to the touch, smooth, soft, and comfortable against the skin. It has a lightly crinkled appearance in the weft or widthwise direction, which is quite common with this fabric type. The light-coloured areas are slightly translucent. Fabric has good drape with some body and moderate structure. It is suitable for clothing such as tops, dresses, jumpsuits, shirts, and bottoms.
General info:
All fabrics in this update are woven of plant-based fibres in one direction, and polyamide/ nylon in the other direction (typically the warp or lengthwise yarns). Polyamide adds strength, body, and stability, without adding too much weight. The plant-based fibres take colour well and keep the fabric feeling softer against the skin. One thing I like about this type of fabric is that it drapes well yet tends to skim the body, rather than cling to it.
