142gsm chambray cotton lyocell, by metre

Italian cotton/ lyocell blend chambray fabric in a desaturated denim blue colour - more grey than blue, although it does look different depending on the light and angle.  The individual yarns are dark blue and white.  The fabric feels smooth, almost waxy, soft, and somewhat cool to the touch.  It has moderate to good drape with some structure.  Opaque on the skin and has justslight wrinkle resistance.  Suitable for clothing such as tops, soft unstructured shirts, blouses, dresses, even sleepwear as it’s so soft against the skin.
