Yarn-dyed cotton/ bamboo double gauze in deep navy and white: gingham on one side, and plaid on the other with the addition of a little dark red. (Note that the opposite side can be faintly seen whichever side you choose to use as the "right" one.) Fabric is soft and smooth, and has a dry hand-feel. It is opaque on the skin, with rather good drape. Suitable for tops, shirts, blouses, dresses, loose casual pants, sleepwear, as well as scarves, as it's relatively fluid and unstructured. You could also double it up for face cloths, lap blankets, baby bibs, etc. As with all double gauze fabrics, the two layers are stitched together and will not come apart by themselves. This particular double gauze is stitched together at slightly wider intervals (these are the tiny "hitches" in the plaid pattern you may notice in the photos).
