151gsm peppermint ice basket-weave cotton, by metre

Cotton basket-weave fabric, possibly with some proportion of another plant-based fibre such as rayon.  This fabric has a tweedy look to it but, in terms of texture, it's the furthest thing possible from a tweed: it's very soft and cottony-feeling, with a cosy, rather than crisp, finish.  It has fairly good drape, with just a little body and structure (not as much as you would think).  Yarn colours are white and a soft, dusty mint green.  Fabric is basically opaque on the skin.  Suitable for clothing such as tops, blouses, soft shirts, and kids wear such as dresses (it might be too soft for adult's dresses without some interfacing or interlining).  The basket weave gives it a bit of wrinkle resistance but, like most cotton fabrics, it does still wrinkle when you scrunch it up.
