Viscose/ polyamide fabric (perhaps with a little ramie as well), with an animal print in tan brown with black irregular spots. Fabric feels soft and smooth overall - very pleasant against the skin. The reverse side in particular feels almost like a linen or ramie blend and has a slight dry hand-feel. The fabric has a lightly crinkled appearance in the weft or widthwise direction, which is quite common with this fabric type. It is opaque on the skin, and has very good drape with a fluid handle and a nice amount of body. Suitable for a wide range of garments from tops to dresses to bottoms and jumpsuits, even men's shirts if you like.
General info:
All fabrics in this update are woven of plant-based fibres in one direction, and polyamide/ nylon in the other direction (typically the warp or lengthwise yarns). Polyamide adds strength, body, and stability, without adding too much weight. The plant-based fibres take colour well and keep the fabric feeling softer against the skin. One thing I like about this type of fabric is that it drapes well yet tends to skim the body, rather than cling to it.
