Yarn-dyed pure linen fabric featuring a woven uneven stripe design done in black and natural off-white yarns. The stripes run horizontally across the fabric from selvedge to selvedge. These are factory off-cuts from making bed or table linens, and only around 40cm wide - good for crafts, making kitchen or hand towels, or pieced together for clothing. Classic linen texture with very good drape and body, not scratchy at all and very comfortable against the skin. Close-woven and just slightly translucent on the skin.
Sold by the half metre with up to 18.5m available at the time of listing (it works out to about $8.40/m if it were full-width fabric). Shrinkage was less than 2% for my test piece. Swatches are available - leave a note at check-out if you would like one.
