Width:
1.6m
Weight:
236gsm (base fabric is probably about 180gsm)
Stretch:
40% width-wise (also has ~25% length-wise give, due to the pleats)

Stable interlock knit fabric with a permanent pleated effect that runs width-wise from selvedge to selvedge (i.e. the length of the pleats equals the width of the fabric, more or less). Cut edges don't curl up or fray as this is an interlock knit. Designer overstock, so the exact fibre composition is unknown but it feels synthetic, plus it's difficult to permanently set pleats into natural fibre fabrics unless they're stitched in. Fabric feels quite smooth and it's not scratchy at all, but it also isn't super soft on the skin as a cotton knit would be. Has good drape. Only chartreuse green (yellow-ish green) is left, the light greyish aqua is sold out. An interesting fabric that should be fun to sew up (some ideas?) Suitable for tops, dresses, shorts and skirts, pants in cooler environments, and perhaps accessories or cushion covers, too.
