Pure ramie fabric with very fine yarns, similar to a crisp voile, in deep navy with a subtle woven pattern of tiny diamond shapes.  Ramie has a distinctive slightly "crunchy" texture to it, but is basically smooth overall.  It does soften a little with washing, but will never get ultra-soft like a washed linen.  This fabric has some soft drape and moderate body.  It's very airy to wear, dries super fast, and doesn't stick to your skin.  Suitable for tops, blouses, shirts, tunics, even dresses, skirts or pants with a lining.  Fabric is thin and somewhat translucent, but strong.  It is not as shiny as it looks in the photos.  Swatches are available - please leave a note at check-out if you would like one.

Defects (to be clear, the uneven dye defects on this fabric are purely cosmetic and fabric integrity is not affected, unless otherwise mentioned):

Section A (2.65m long) has uneven dye colour along one selvedge, up to 12cm wide (i.e. ~1.27m of width is fine).

Section B (2.55m long) has uneven dye colour along both selvedges, up to 12cm wide on one selvedge and up to 8cm wide on the other (i.e. 1.19m of width is fine).   Additionally, 0.95m down, there are a couple of small holes within 7cm of the first selvedge edge - be sure to avoid them.

Note: There is a 6cm length between Section B and Section C with a white warp yarn ~13cm from the selvedge.  It will be included without charge in one of the cuts as appropriate (for example, if purchasing both Sections B and C).

Section C (1.65m long) has uneven dye colour along both selvedges, up to 12cm wide on one selvedge and up to 8cm wide on the other (i.e. 1.19m of width is fine).
