Viscose/ polyamide fabric with a stylised botanical print in leaf green and light yellow cream. This fabric has a particularly fine texture, with a slight sheen in some lights. It's extremely soft, smooth, and somewhat cool to the touch. There is a hint of crinkling in the weft which may be more obvious after washing. It is light and airy against the skin, with a fluid handle, very good drape, and moderate body. The light-coloured parts are somewhat translucent. Suitable for blouses, airy shirts, lined dresses and skirts, even faux silk scarves. Slightly wrinkle resistant.
General info:
All fabrics in this update are woven of plant-based fibres in one direction, and polyamide/ nylon in the other direction (typically the warp or lengthwise yarns). Polyamide adds strength, body, and stability, without adding too much weight. The plant-based fibres take colour well and keep the fabric feeling softer against the skin. One thing I like about this type of fabric is that it drapes well yet tends to skim the body, rather than cling to it.
