Cotton blend jacquard knit 137gsm, by metre

Lightweight yarn-dyed single knit with a small-scale jacquard design.  The composition is cotton and some plant-based fibre such as soy or lyocell - no synthetic or stretch fibre content.  Fabric is soft, very smooth (especially on the right side), slightly cool and dry to touch, and comfortable against the skin.  The yarn colours are a rich ruby red and grey-blue - the overall effect is similar to a reddish-purple, plum colour.  Fabric is pretty much opaque on the skin.  It has good drape with some structure.  Suitable for clothing such as tops, tees, and sleepwear.  Supposedly used for polo tees originally, although I find it on the thin side for that.  Deadstock from a menswear brand.
