Mercerised pure cotton interlock knit T-shirt fabric, smooth and very soft to the touch, woven of long-staple cotton yarns which give the fabric a relatively finer texture, subtle natural sheen, and good drape. Double knit, so raw edges lie flat and don't curl, making the fabric easier to cut and sew. A perfect fabric for sleepwear and lounge wear, T-shirts, tops, dresses, soft shorts, men's tees and children's wear. Despite the high inherent stretch, fabric is not suitable for leggings or similar as it contains no stretch fibre. Maroon brown is a deep brown with reddish purple hints, it is opaque on the skin.
About "soft type" vs "dense type": This fabric and those shown in the last photo are marked as "soft type". Compared to the other mercerised long-staple cotton interlocks in the shop marked as "dense type", which have a dense and ultra-smooth texture, these have a somewhat more plush texture and a lofty hand-feel. These fabrics are also softer, less structured (making them very suited to sleepwear and lounge wear), and some have slightly thicker yarns that make them feel a bit more cottony in the hand (e.g. the Green stripe and Fog blue). In the order shown in the last photo, the colours are: Dark purple; Pale peach; White; Maroon brown; Fog blue; Coral peach; Orange stripe; and Green stripe, all available separately in the shop.
