Merino wool/ elastane blend jersey in a medium-dark heather grey (a mix of various shades of grey). This fabric is soft on the right side, with a more woolly feel on the inside. It's non-scratchy, but not as ultra-soft as some of the wool jerseys can be. Has moderate drape, and is opaque on the skin when unstretched. The cut edges do curl a bit as it's a stretchy single knit. This is deadstock from an outdoor wear brand (click here to view all fabric from this brand), suitable for clothing such as base layers for cold weather sports/ activities, tees, tops, etc. Leftover fabric could be used for small items such as underwear or buffs. Fabric can be machine-washed in cold water, but tumble drying is not recommended for longevity.
Wool is naturally odour-resistant, breathable, moisture-wicking (so it dries really quickly), and temperature-regulating. I personally can't wear regular sheeps wool, but I find the wool fabrics in the shop comfortable to wear and non-scratchy at all. Still, please buy with care if your skin is very sensitive.
