Mercerised pure cotton interlock knit T-shirt fabric is very smooth (smoother than typical cotton jersey), soft to the touch, woven of very fine, long-staple cotton yarns which give the fabric a silky feel and subtle natural sheen. Fabric feels "dense" in the hand despite being relatively thin. Double knit, so raw edges lie flat and don't curl, making the fabric easier to cut and sew. A perfect fabric for T-shirts, tops, dresses, sleepwear, men's wear and children's wear. Despite the high inherent stretch, fabric is not suitable for leggings or other fitted articles are it contains no stretch fibre. Peach is a light pinkish peach that is just slightly translucent over contrasting colours. Fabric has very good drape with a little body to it.
About "soft type" vs "dense type": Compared to the mercerised long-staple cotton interlocks in the shop marked as "soft type", these have a more dense and ultra-smooth texture, whilst the "soft type" have a somewhat more plush texture and a lofty hand-feel.
