Plum lyocell nylon ponte 233gsm, by metre

Lyocell/ nylon/ elastane blend ponte fabric in a fairly matte purplish plum colour.  Ponte is a double knit fabric that is relatively more stable and retains its shape better than most knits, whilst still having good stretch (usually the "firm" type of stretch).  This particular ponte is relatively fine-textured and densely-knit.  It feels soft and quite smooth, a little slippery, and slightly cool to the touch.  Has very good drape with moderate structure.  Not thick, but is opaque on the skin.  Suitable for bottoms such as culottes, jumpsuits, dresses, tops, or tees with a bit of structure.  Quite wrinkle resistant.
