A pointelle sweater knit that's suitable for local weather as well as slightly cooler temperatures, depending on the style of garment you make with it. The composition is mainly viscose, with some synthetic fibre for strength, and a little stretch fibre. (I understand it also contains a small amount of wool but, if so, it should only be a few percent.) This fabric feels soft, snuggly, and slightly dry to the touch. It has good drape, with a little structure to it. There are tiny spaces in the knit which promote airflow, but they are so small that you can't really see through them, so an under layer shouldn't be needed for tops. The fabric is suitable for clothing such as tanks, tees, vests, lightweight sweaters, dresses, cardigans, etc. You could even use it as a lap blanket or throw. This fabric doesn't unravel much, so it's relatively easier to work with.
The colour of the fabric on this page is lilac pink (a slightly purplish pink), with flecks of silvery white. The 3rd and 4th photos of a different colour-way are included to show the fabric details. A total of four colour-ways (shown in last photo) are available in the shop.
