Mercerised pure cotton interlock T-shirt fabric, very smooth (smoother than typical cotton jersey), soft to the touch, woven of fine, long-staple cotton yarns which give the fabric an almost silky feel. Fabric feels "dense" in the hand despite being relatively thin. Has a soft, slightly structured drape. Double knit, so raw edges lie flat and don't curl, making the fabric easier to cut and sew. Perfect for T-shirts, tops, dresses, sleepwear, men's wear and children's wear. Despite the high inherent stretch, fabric is not suitable for leggings or other fitted articles are it contains no stretch fibre. This particular fabric is a slightly toned down, ruby red, and is opaque on the skin. Swatches are available, please leave a note at check-out if you would like one.
