An interesting lightweight jersey fabric, most likely a viscose blend with some nylon and elastane. It is antique ivory in colour with a textural, shirred effect created by thin elastic on the reverse side. Despite appearances, both sides are soft and can be worn against the skin comfortably. I suppose you could use the reverse as the right side, if you preferred (it does have the look of corded lace thanks to the raised lines). Fabric is slightly translucent, with good drape. Please note that the stretch goes down the length of the fabric (not across the width, like most knits), so it is meant to be used cross-grain. Suitable for clothing such as fitted tees, tops, blouses, dresses (with bottom lining), cardigans, or other thin outer wear. Could also be used for unusual bottoms, such as pants, with a lining.
Swatches are available - please leave a note at check-out if you would like one.
