Mercerised pure cotton interlock fabric, like a thicker T-shirt weight. It is soft and very smooth, and slightly cool to the touch. Has quite a good drape and moderate structure. It is double knit, so raw edges lie flat rather than curling up. Perfect for T-shirts, tops, or sleepwear. This fabric is not suitable for leggings or other fitted articles which require good recovery, as it contains no stretch fibre. The colour is a natural white leaning to pure white (it becomes whiter after the first wash), and is slightly translucent over contrasting colours.
*The photos show this fabric after pre-washing. Both pre-washed and non-pre-washed options are available. The un-washed fabric has a finishing treatment so it behaves a bit differently than the pre-washed fabric. Shrinkage is about 3%.
