An interesting faux-shirred cotton/ ramie blend swiss dot fabric with slight stretch. Colour is pure white. The base fabric is smooth for a ramie/ linen blend when you stretch it out, but the overall feel of the fabric is textured due to the puckers, and a bit crisp, with a rather dry hand-feel. Fabric has moderate structure and only slight drape, without much body. Suitable for clothing such as non-drapey tops, shirts, and lined dresses. This fabric stretches up to about 40%, but it recovers slowly, so it is probably meant to be used in its puckered state and not meant to be constantly stretched out (like with a typical shirred garment, for example). The puckers easily spring back into shape after washing.
