PREVIEW 70gsm navy gingham cotton blend voile, by metre

Yarn-dyed cotton voile with a small amount of linen content.  The colours of the gingham pattern are desaturated navy and an off-white/ ivory.  Fabric is soft and smooth with a somewhat dry hand-feel - a bit less cotton-soft to the touch than the other two similar-looking voiles in this update.  The weave is slightly loose but very regular and even.  Fabric has moderate structure and good drape.  It is slightly translucent in one layer, and pretty much opaque on the skin in two layers.  Suitable for clothing such as airy blouses, thin shirts, lined dresses, sleepwear, and kids wear.  It could also be used for raglan sleeves, for example, paired with a double gauze or other soft fabric for the body.  Also great for gathered and smocked styles as it’s so thin.
