Merino wool/ elastane yarn dyed jersey in an aqua blue and cream marl (looks blue-green overall). This fabric is soft and springy in the hand, and feels cosy and quite dry to the touch. It has some drape with a bit of structure to it. Cut edges do curl a little as it's a single knit. Slightly translucent. This is deadstock from an outdoor wear brand, suitable for clothing such as hiking base layers, thermal wear, jersey cardigans, short or long-sleeved tees, camisoles, sleepwear, kids wear, etc. Leftover fabric can be used for small items such as underwear or buffs. Wool is naturally odour-resistant, breathable, moisture-wicking (so it dries really quickly), and temperature-regulating. I find that this weight of wool jersey can also be worn in Singapore as short-sleeved tees, or on cooler days/ in air-conditioned environments as long-sleeved tops and cardigans.
Merino wool is finer than regular sheeps wool. I personally can't wear regular sheeps wool at all, but I find these merino wool fabrics comfortable to wear and not scratchy - still, please buy with care if your skin is very sensitive.
