One selvedge is unevenly torn off, so the fabric is ~1.47m wide for the first 4.25m, and thereafter the width varies down to ~1.25m at the narrowest. The opposite selvedge is intact with relatively minor damage. Fabric is discounted accordingly..

Please wash by itself for at least the first wash, as there will be some black fluff. (Fabric is discounted for this as well.)

Linen/ cotton blend plain weave fabric in a slightly soft black colour.  Just slightly translucent in certain lights, as it's not super tightly woven.  Fabric is fairly smooth for a linen blend with slight texture and a somewhat dry hand-feel.  It is a bit "crispy" in feel and not particularly soft, but should soften up with washing.  It has fairly good drape, with some body and structure.  Suitable for tops, blouses, shirts, dresses, thin bottoms, or handicrafts.  Please take note of the defects when purchasing.
